What exactly is JoinMyTrip travel insurance?
We are offering two types of insurance, the insurance selected will depend on the location of the trip, but both, however, offer the same coverage. The insurance will be automatically included when you Book a Trip, and every trip will be insured from the start and end when the insured trip officially ends.

What does JoinMyTrip travel insurance cover?
Travel interruption service
Insurance coverage in case you have to prolong your stay due to an unexpected severe illness or accident (incl. COVID-19); Or, if you have to interrupt your trip due to pregnancy, death of a risk person, compulsory redundancy, etc.

Including coverage for:
- Trip interruption due to natural disasters (accommodation, meals and return trip)
- Additional costs for onward/return trip in case of a delay in public transport of more than 2 hours
- Additional costs for catching up a round trip after a trip interruption due to an insured event.
Travel assistance
The insurance will assist in organising your return journey for you in case of any unexpected serious illness, serious accidental injury or unlikely death.
Travel health insurance
The costs of any necessary medical treatment abroad, including treatment due to an epidemic or pandemic-prone disease (incl. COVID-19). This also includes any injuries or illnesses during the return transportation.
