It’s time for another Travel Tip!
If you haven’t seen our Travel Tips show then where have you been? How are you even surviving your trip without our best travel tips? On this show, our colleague, Jasmine sits down every Monday in front of a camera and shares the most essential travel tips with you. In this week’s episode, we have the top 5 tips to Spain! One of Europe‘s most beloved travel destinations will for sure knock your socks off.
Tip #1 – Beware of Pickpocketers
Spain has a lot of pickpocketers, and they are very skilled in what they do. Always keep an extra eye on your personal belongings and bring your bag or purse to the front.
Tip #2 – Trying Paella is a must!
Before going to Spain, Jasmine had no idea what Paella even was but she absolutely fell in love with it! We recommend everyone try the amazing Spanish dish when in Spain.
Tip #3 – Indulge in Tapas culture
There’s a lot of great Tapas bar in Spain, mainly because it is a country of tapas culture after all. Be sure to indulge in the Tapas culture to keep your stomach satisfied. 😉
Tip #4 – Beware of your alcohol intake
In Spain, the drinks are not properly measured. If you would order a cocktail, they usually eyeball the alcohol measurements and in the end, you end up drinking way more than expected. Jasmine learned this the hard way, so always be careful!
Tip #5 – Walk EVERYWHERE
We love to walk because it’s the best and cheapest way to discover a country or city. While walking from point A to point B you get to see how the city is built and admire the architecture as you go. If you only stuck to the tourist attractions, you will never truly get to know the place.
