5 things you should definitely take on your trip!

Believe me when I tell you that it is not smart at all to go to a festival without having a pavilion with you! My friends and I had to make this painful experience and I don’t wish this on anyone. Don’t be as naive as we were and make sure to take a gazebo with you. This will keep you and your stuff dry, protect you from wind, water and also from the sun. A pavilion is also super practical because you can secure your place in the festival area! This pavilion offers you a roof over your head as well as 4 walls to give you some privacy. It offers enough space for you, but also for all the new friends you will meet during your time at the festival. Small fanny pack
A fanny pack should be one of the first things you put in your bag when packing for a festival. It’s so much more practical than a backpack that’s too big when you go to the festival grounds to listen to your favorite bands. Just don’t think about putting your valuables in your pants pockets…because then the fun will end faster than you can say “festival“! This fanny pack has many small pockets where you can store your most important valuables and is also waterproof. I say “only the most important valuables” on purpose! You really shouldn’t carry a penny or ID document too much. We all know what alcohol can do… This fanny pack is available in many different colors and also sizes.
Practical gas stove
You know those simple little gas stoves with the light blue cartridges? Yes – that’s my biggest mistake when it comes to travel utensils at a festival! Make sure you take a sturdy gas stove like this one that won’t take you 2 hours to heat up your noodles. Unlike mine, it’s powerful, sturdy and compact. There is a windbreak on the right and left, which is very handy. The good stability makes it easy to use, transport and clean. But you have to promise me one thing: Gas is not a toy and this gas stove is exclusively for the outdoors! I am sure, with this gas stove you are the king of every festival! A change of pace with Viking chess
7 days at a festival – you can run out of ideas. Because I speak from experience, I want you to try my favorite of the 5 travel utensils at your next festival: Viking Chess. No, you don’t have to play chess while slightly drunk. This is a drinking game that will also help you make new friends. Here’s how it works: You form 2 teams with 6 players each (5 or not). Each team has small wooden blocks in front of them that must be knocked over one by one. Every time a wooden block falls, you have to drink. When all the blocks of the opposing team have been knocked over, the next task is to hit the king in the middle. Whoever hits the king wins the game. You see, no complicated rules, so perfect for an afternoon at a festival.
Comfortable camping chair
Sure it is somewhere important that you sit comfortably, but what is much more important are the holders on the backrests for a cool drink! This camping chair has both. You can definitely stand to sit there longer and at the same time enjoy your beer if you want to. The fabric is high quality and can hold up to 135kg (I don’t think that will be a problem). Rather incidental is the design, as most chairs either don’t exist anymore after the festival or are unrecognizable. Nevertheless, a cute design, as this chair has, is “nice to have”.
